Admit one
What It Costs
Gate, rides, parking, grandstand. Four numbers decide your day — and four of the nine days have a window where the first one is zero.

Lunch Bunch · Mon 21 – Thu 24
Free11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Walk in free; buy your lunch on the grounds. Four days out of nine, three hours each. The single best-value entry at the fair, because you were going to eat anyway.

A nine-hour window, long enough to include the afternoon harness racing before the derby.
Kids' Day · Fri 25

Parking, admission and ride wristbands for the whole car. Under $8 a person with rides included — nothing else comes close.
Three · The midway
Rides & wristbands
Reithoffer Shows runs the midway — 2026 is their 32nd consecutive year here. Rides are charged separately from the gate.
| Option | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Single ride ticket | $1.50 | One ticket. Most rides take several. |
| 11 tickets | $15.00 | $1.36 each. |
| 22 tickets | $25.00 | $1.14 each. |
| 55 tickets | $55.00 | $1.00 each — the best per-ticket rate. |
| All-day wristband | $37.00 | Unlimited rides for one day. Does not include gate admission or parking. |
| Jack Pass | $35.00 | One gate admission plus an all-day wristband, single day. Cheaper than buying both. |
| Carload Special (Tue 22) | $60.00 | Parking, admission and wristbands for up to 8 people. |
Read this before you buy a wristband
The $37 wristband and the $35 Jack Pass are almost the same price, but the Jack Pass includes your gate admission. If you are riding at all, there is no scenario where the plain wristband is the better buy for a single visitor.
Sensory-friendly hours
Sundays, noon to 2 p.m. Lights and music are turned down across the midway for a lower-stimulation experience.
Fourteen games
Balloon Bust, Water Race, Fishy Fish, Hi Striker, Long Range Basketball, Duck Pond and more. Priced individually at the booth.
Four · Leaving the car
Parking
Lots open at 9 a.m. daily. The payment method matters more than the price.
Cash or credit. Closest to the action and the only lot that takes a card.
Cash only.

Cash only. Accessible shuttle service runs from here.
Bring a ten-dollar bill
Four of the five lots will not take your card. There are ATMs on the grounds, but they are inside the gate — which does you no good in the parking queue.
The arithmetic
Four days, four budgets
Same fair, wildly different totals. All figures assume advance online purchase where it's available.
| Scenario | Day | Cost | How |
|---|---|---|---|
| Two retirees, a morning | Mon–Wed | $10 | Senior Days admission free for both; one $10 cash lot. |
| Couple, lunch and the barns | Mon–Thu | $10 + lunch | Lunch Bunch window 11–2; parking $10. Gate free. |
| Family of five, rides included | Tue 22 | $60 | Carload Special. Parking, gate and wristbands, all in. |
| Two adults, concert night | Sat 26 | $110+ | Two closing-night grandstand tickets from $50 each (gate included) plus $10 parking. |
| Two adults + two kids, walk-up | Sat 19 | $40 | Two gate adults at $15, two children under 11 free, $10 parking. Online it's $30. |
The move most people miss
An advance grandstand ticket includes that day's gate admission. On Monday the truck pull starts at $21 — eleven dollars more than plain online admission, for a full evening event. If you were going to buy a ticket anyway, buy the one with a show attached.
Now the important part
You've budgeted for the gate. Here's what to spend the rest on.
