The Grandstand
Five concerts, two demolition derbies and a truck pull across nine nights — the only part of the fair that needs a ticket of its own, and the only part that can also be the cheapest way in.

The ticket that pays for itself
An advance grandstand ticket includes gate admission for the day of the performance. That single line changes the arithmetic of the whole week.
Plain online admission is $10. A Monday truck-pull seat starts at $21. For eleven dollars more than simply walking in, you get the entire day at the fair and a two-hour motorsport event in the evening. On the bigger concert nights the gap is wider in absolute terms but the logic holds: if you were buying admission anyway, you are only ever paying the difference.
Where it stops working
The inclusion applies to advance purchases. Buy at the window on the night and you should expect to pay the gate separately — confirm at the box office before you queue twice.

What to expect once you're in
Sign language interpretation
Provided at every evening musical performance. No advance request needed — it is standard for the concerts, not something you have to book.
The motorsport nights are loud
The truck pull and both derbies are genuinely, physically loud. Ear defenders for small children are a requirement rather than a precaution. Adults tend to want them by the second hour too.
No smoking under cover
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the grandstand or any building on the grounds. Outdoors only, and not in the seating bowl.
VIP means different things
VIP pricing runs from $125 for the Taylor tribute to $250 for closing night. What it includes varies by act — check the listing before assuming it is the same package each night.
Openers start early
On the five concert nights an opener takes the stage at 6:30 p.m. and the headliner at 8. If you only want the headliner you have ninety minutes of fair left to use.
Weather doesn't cancel
The fair runs in rain and the grandstand is covered. Genuine safety concerns are the only thing that moves a show — watch the fair's own channels on the day.
